Get to Know Faros Health: Meet Sales Development Representative, Lindsay Deborah

Describe your role at Faros Health

At Faros Health, I focus primarily on sales development, where I connect and engage with prospective clients who are interested in lowering their healthcare spend and improving the employee experience. Because I have a degree in marketing, I also work on campaigns and other creative initiatives geared toward driving adoption and engagement on our ENLIGHT platform.  

Why did you choose to work in healthcare?  

When I graduated in 2023, I wasn't set on a specific industry, but as I explored opportunities, Faros excited me the most, not only because of their mission but also because of the unique learning opportunity to join a startup. My love for helping others aligns perfectly with what we're doing at Faros, and it's reassuring to be in a field where change is not only needed but actively pursued.  

What are you currently working on that you are most excited about?

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is engaging daily with people dedicated to simplifying the complexities of healthcare. Being part of a team contributing to a solution makes me even more excited about the work being done.  

What's your favorite core value and why?  

"People first, always." I believe that supporting and uplifting others is key to success. When people feel valued and prioritized, they are better equipped to succeed and become the best version of themselves. I wouldn't be where I am today without the encouragement and support of those who put me first. At Faros, people are at the heart of everything we do, and I'm grateful to be on a team that truly embraces this value.  

Outside of work, where would we find you?  

I love to stay active by working out or walking. I'm also a big foodie, so I love exploring new restaurants in DFW or cooking new and fun meals when I can. Spending quality time with my fiancé, family, friends, and my two labs is my favorite way to recharge and stay grounded.
